As a world-class distributor of promotional products, GoPromotional seeks to support the next generation of marketing leaders and business innovators through a college scholarship contest. We're looking for students who demonstrate creativity, a passion for marketing, and a commitment to excellence in business–the same principles that have guided GoPromotional since 2008.

Apply for the GoPromotional Scholarship and contend for an opportunity to win up to $1,000 toward your undergraduate degree in business, marketing, or equally-relevant fields!

Three prizes will be awarded: 1st place: $1,000, 2nd place: $750, and 3rd place: $500.

• Deadline: Applications must be submitted by August 30, 2024 for consideration.
• Decision: Winners will be chosen by October 30, 2024
• Disbursement: Scholarship funds will be sent to the winners’ school on their behalf prior to the start of the Spring 2024 semester

Eligibility Requirements

• Applicants must be enrolled in (or accepted into) a full-time undergraduate business program at an accredited UK or USA University.
• Applicants must be legal UK or USA residents aged 18 or older at the time of application.
• Our scholarship contest is not open to anyone employed in, or whose immediate family is employed in, the promotional products industry in any capacity. This includes (but is not limited to) suppliers, distributors, and organizations that primarily service the promotional products industry.

Selection Criteria

• Eligible students must write an essay (maximum 1000 words) answering the question: How can the principles of promotional marketing best be used to supplement and enhance the results of mainstream advertising?
• Within their essay response, successful applicants will suggest a range of creative, engaging, and insightful ways in which promotional merchandise and related marketing initiatives can enhance a business’ returns on advertising expenditure.
• Applicants will be reviewed in accordance with the above eligibility requirements.

Terms and Conditions

All submitted photos and essays must be the original work of the applicant. Only one submission may be entered per student, per year. Duplicate entries will be disqualified. All scholarships are non-renewable. A student may only be awarded the scholarship one time. By submitting an application to The GoPromotional Scholars Fund, you certify that all the information you have provided is original, accurate, and complete.

As outlined in the Privacy Policy, once permission is granted by the applicant, GoPromotional, its agents, and/or representatives have permission to:

• Use their name, photo, essay response, and award amount, if any, in announcements or articles (i.e. social media, newsletter, etc) issued by GoPromotional.
• Post the applicant’s name, college or university, and the essay on the GoPromotional website.
• Email information to the applicant regarding their application and award.
• Winners will be notified via email and announced publicly on GoPromotional's website and social media pages.

The scholarship award will be sent via check or wire transfer directly to the university or college in the recipient’s name. Funds will be applied only to qualified college expenses, which may include tuition, fees, on-campus housing and meals, and books for the current academic year.

Scholarship Resources

The GoPromotional Scholarship program is free to apply to for all eligible applicants. Like any other scholarship, we require sufficient information and submitted materials from the applicant to verify eligibility and select winners. If applicants have any concerns about the legitimacy of this program, they are encouraged to consult with an academic advisor, financial aid advisor, or equivalent professional from their school of choice.

Privacy Policy

By submitting an application, GoPromotional is granted permission to send applicants information regarding their application only, via their submitted email address. No applicants will be contacted regarding anything other than their application or award.

The winner will be asked if they will grant GoPromotional permission to post their name, school, photo (if submitted), and essay on GoPromotional’s website, social media, or other marketing communications relating to the scholarship program. We will remove any information pertaining to applicants at their request.

All information (proof of enrollment, essays, and email) relating to applicants is deleted and destroyed as soon as a winner is announced.

Applicant emails will not be used for any marketing purposes. GoPromotional and its representatives will not knowingly sell, share, rent, or otherwise transfer your information other than in accordance with the terms set forth in this Privacy Policy.
