This is not a new subject by any means and you have probably heard some tips about reducing stress at work before. However, today we are sharing some quick and easy ideas to help you reduce your work stress right at your desk.
1. Take several short 15 minute scheduled breaks. Studies have shown that you are actually more productive when you take short breaks that relieve your stress and clear your mind.
2. Take 15 second breaks during high stress situations to catch your breath and clear your head to tackle the issue at hand.
3. Do not eat lunch at your desk, if possible leave the office altogether.
4. Listen to music if you can. Sites like Pandora that have free streaming music that you choose are a great way to help your mood throughout your work day. If you job allows you to listen to music, take full advantage of that all day, every day.
5. Surround yourself with things you love. Add the colors, pictures and office accessories that are personal with meaning.
