We always say that trade shows and promotional products go together hand in hand. It is the number one reason that our clients purchase promotional products to give away as a gift, a remembrance, or a token of thanks for doing business together. Too often companies shy away from giving out promotional products at trade shows for fear that it only attracts people that are looking for a hand out instead of a hand shake.

Make an impression with professionalism and presentation. Have supporting documents, flyers, and sale information available to help them make their purchasing decision.
At the very least, you have your foot in the door with this customer. Make the most of the interaction with them. You should get their business card so that you can make contact with them again. Your choice in promotional gift can also help you do your job. Make them remember you with a promotional product that is useful to the customer and also represents your brand. That way, they will keep the product longer and constantly be reminded your company name by looking at the branded gift.
