Pens are such a standard item that we use each and every day in many facets of our life. And no matter what your logo looks like if you put it on a pen that is blue or black chances are even those who are holding and using your pen aren’t really paying any attention to that logo.
One of my favorite promotional logo pens is the crooked one that Chiropractors use. It is supposed to represent a bent spine but essentially it is just a pen that is crooked. When you pick up a crooked pen your eye is forced to look at why this pen is different from all the rest and this is when you will look to see whose logo is on the pen. A standard pen is more likely to be picked up and placed down without getting a person’s attention.
So if you aren’t a Chiropractor you are out of luck. Not really, because there are many different things that you can do to make sure that others take notice of your pen and your logo on that pen. Designing pens allows you the freedom to be creative since this is one promotional product that just about every company offers a huge selection of. Now you must think to yourself what would draw your attention to a pen?
Well, there are several different reasons people will look at the pen they are writing with and one is when it is not functioning properly, so needless to say that is not something that you will want to strive for. After all, you don’t want someone to think wow what a lousy pen and then look down and see your business logo. This is definitely not the representation of your business that you are looking for.
On the flip side if a pen writes exceptionally well, most people will look at it and may even want to take it with them. So a smooth flowing pen that writes well is a good way to get a person’s attention. Colour is also a good way to make people take notice of your pen depending on your target audience you may want to design your promotional plastic pens in a more interesting colour then just a standard blue or black shell. Choosing more interesting colours will help to draw some attention to your business logo.
You can also select a style pen that is unique and perhaps slightly thicker or longer than standard plastic pens. If it feels or looks different in any way then this will probably help you attract some attention to your logo. Of course, in most business scenarios it is best to always choose a blue or black ink but coloured ink gel pens usually do get attention but this will work better when passing them onto children and teens since most adults won’t want to sign something in orange or pink ink.
Selecting the right pens can make all the difference in helping to attract some attention to your business name and logo. Ultimately making the right selection will help you to showcase your business in the best possible light and you don’t have to be a Chiropractor to draw attention to your logo pens.
